Little Bears is open to every family in the community, and you are welcome to visit us to see the facilities available to you and your child. Please make an appointment for a convenient time.
Your child can start Little Bears from the age of 2, dependent on available spaces. We offer flexible hours to suit your needs when your child starts with us, to help the settling-in process. Prior to your child starting, you will be invited to spend a morning with us when your child will be able to join in with all activities available and you will get an opportunity to ask any questions you may have. We are able to accept children who are not yet toilet trained; further details on our policy regarding this are available on request.
Once we receive your registration form your child will be placed on our waiting list and a letter will be sent confirming when a place will be available to you. Six months prior to your child’s start date we will contact you again confirming their start date and requesting a deposit payment to guarantee the place with us.

Registration charge £15 (6 months prior to start date) Deposit payment £35 (6 months prior to start date and refunded when your child leaves the group, provided all fees have been paid and sufficient notice has been given) Hourly charge £7.00. If you request sessions in addition to the normal agreed hours they will be charged at an additional 50p per hour. Please see below for our fees:

Funding is available for children the term after their 3rd birthday – you will receive 15 hours free entitlement with no additional charges; this can include our lunch club sessions. Some 2 year olds are also eligible for funding. We are registered to receive 30 hours funding which is available to some parents. To check eligibility please visit the Childcare Choices website
