Little Bears is open to every family in the community, and you are welcome to visit us to see the facilities available to you and your child. Please make an appointment for a convenient time.
Your child can start Little Bears from the age of 2, dependent on available spaces. We offer flexible hours to suit your needs when your child starts with us, to help the settling-in process. Prior to your child starting, you will be invited to spend a morning with us when your child will be able to join in with all activities available and you will get an opportunity to ask any questions you may have.

Hourly charge £8.00. If you request sessions in addition to the normal agreed hours they will be charged at an additional 50p per hour. Please see below for our fees:

Childcare Funding Information
3 and 4 Year Old Funding
All eligible children are entitled to 570 hours of funded early education and care per year. This is available for a maximum of 15 hours per week over a minimum of 38 weeks of the year.
The funding is available from the first full term after your child’s third birthday.
30 Hours Funding for Working Parents
Eligible working parents may be able to access up to 30 hours of funded early education and care per week for 38 weeks of the year.
This entitlement may be available for eligible 2, 3 and 4 year olds, depending on your circumstances and the current eligibility criteria.
Funded Entitlement for Eligible 2 Year Olds
The Government also provides funded early education and care for eligible 2-year-olds from disadvantaged families.
The scheme is available to eligible families in West Sussex and provides 570 funded hours per year, which can be used for a maximum of 15 hours per week over a minimum of 38 weeks per year.
Using Your Funded Hours
Funded hours can be used flexibly, depending on Little Bears Pre-Schools availability. Please note we are currently only open for 25 hours per week) Funding can be used across up to two childcare settings at the same time.
High-quality early education and care can support your child’s learning and development, help them develop important skills for starting school and support their longer-term progress.
